CCHN Volunteer Program Cumberland County Heritage Network Society (CCHN) is a non-profit organization that is designed to assist in the promotion and development of arts, cultural and heritage sites throughout Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. At present we have 26 members and partners. Come join our team! Volunteering is one of the most rewarding and satisfying experiences you may ever partake in. CCHN is excitedly looking for volunteers to join our team. We welcome families as well as individuals. You can volunteer with us in your community area or volunteer to help at our member sites in various locations throughout Cumberland County. We would be thrilled to pair you with a project that meets your skills and interests or ones that will challenge you personally or professionally. What things do volunteers do? We have a wide variety of positions and challenges: Tour guides, story tellers, general organizers, fundraising event helpers, idea generators, and re-enactments to name a few. We also have evening and weekend events that need volunteers to assist with in order for them to become the best experience for our patrons. How much time do I need to spend? If you have an hour or a day, we have flexible hours, locations and events. If you are interested in volunteering with the Cumberland County Heritage Network Society, please call (902)667-8126 or email: museumproject.08@gmail.com for details.
